We released some datasets on our website, including CHIP 1988, CHIP 1995, CHIP 2002, CHIP-urban 1999, CHIP2007/RUMiC2008, and CHIP2008/RUMiC2009. The detail information of them showed in the CHIP page.  The following are the precautions of using CHIP and the steps of getting CHIP.

Precautions for CHIP dataset:

        1) Publications based on CHIPS data should report the statement of the source of data.

        2) Data obtained from CHIPS will not be passed on either wholly or partially with or without profit to any other data user or disseminator of data with or without commercial purpose.

        3) The right of the final interpretation belongs to China Institution for Income Distribution of Beijing Normal University.

        4) If you have any publishcations using our data, we hope you can inform us for record. Thank you for your cooperation!

        5) If you have any questions on CHIP data per se or access to CHIP data, you can contact us via ciid@ciidbnu.org.

The steps of getting CHIP dataset:

1. If you do not have an account in our website, please sign up at first. 

        1.1 Fill in your basic information in this page. You should type in at lease these: account name, password, and your email address. 

        1.2 Submit your information. Then, the website system would send a confirmation message to your e-mail address.

        1.3 Please login your email system and click the link in the previous mail to finish the sign up process. 

        1.4 If errors occurred in your registration process, please send your error message to ciid@ciidbnu.org.

2. Sign in and fill in the CHIP application form.

        2.1 Click the "sign in" at the top-right of web page, and sign in our website.

        2.2 Click your account name showed at the top-right of web page, and enter the personal center.

        2.3 Click the link "CHIP dataset" -- "Registration Form".

        2.4 Fill in your information and submit them.

        2.5 Waiting for the confirmation from our staff. 

        2.6 If you are passed the confirmation, you can download the dataset in Data page. On the other hand, if you are not passed, please update your information and submit again.

3. Go to the DATA pages and download the dataset.
